Professor Luboš Sobotka gave a fascinating lecture connecting the origins of life with metabolic challenges like insulin resistance. It was the kind of presentation where rigorous science becomes almost philosophical.
Afterward, I spoke with him briefly. He handed me his small pin bearing the Rod of Asclepius, meaning that resilience and long-term dedication to patient care shape medical wisdom.
